Ryan grew up in Nelson and completed his Bachelor of Commerce locally at NMIT. He worked in various roles at ANZ Bank before moving into public practice accounting over 10 years ago. Prior to studying at NMIT he worked in the construction industry and logistics giving him a good grounding in both small and large business operations.
Ryan works hard to provide his clients with quality information and advice to help them achieve their goals. He is a firm believer in building long lasting relationships with clients and assist with all aspects of their business from start-up, structuring considerations, and strategic business advice, particularly strategies to optimise growth, profitability, and cash flow.
DYLAN BROWN

Dylan grew up in Nelson and completed his Bachelor and Honours degrees at the University of Canterbury. Before returning to Nelson to work in his parent’s practice, he was a tax manager for KPMG in Christchurch.
Dylan enjoys providing advice to clients on all matters tax related, but has a particular interest in property taxation, cross-border taxation and tax efficient structuring.
Dylan’s knowledge of all things tax also underpin his other specialist areas of financial reporting and trust management.
TOM MALING

Tom grew up in Nelson and completed his Bachelor and Honours degrees at the University of Canterbury. He spent 9 years in Auckland in both public practice and industry roles. Tom’s experience in Auckland was wide, he was as a Chartered Accountant for KPMG advising privately owned businesses, Tax Accountant for Westpac Bank, and Finance Manager for Manuka Health while they went through several acquisitions and finance system implementations.
Needless to say, Tom is not your average accountant. He has a passion for the region and has brought his skills home to deliver growth for his clients. He is more likely to spark up a commercial conversation with you than get into the nitty-gritty of your tax issues straight away.
Tom specialises in financial reporting and modelling, data analysis and decision making in addition to business technology and systems.
SUSETTE BROWN

Sue has worked alongside Mark in public practice for over 25 years. She and Mark have three adult children and really enjoy family time at the family bach in Pohara. She likes to keep fit by going to the gym and doing Pilates.

Mark has over 30 years experince in public practice. He also has various other business interests with his wife, Sue. He loves to travel whenever he gets the opportunity. His hobbies include golf, fishing and scuba diving.
